What We Repair
Leak repair.
Water shows up inside far from where it gets in. We trace the actual entry point, valleys, flashing, nail pops, pipe boots, and fix the source, not the symptom.
Wind and hail damage.
Missing shingles, creased tabs, bruised mats. If the damage is widespread, we'll tell you that in writing, with photographs of every slope and an itemized estimate. Whether it becomes an insurance claim is a question for your agent or your carrier, not one a roofing contractor is permitted to answer.
Flashing and chimney repair.
Most Minnesota roof leaks start at flashing, not shingles. We reseal, refit, or replace flashing at chimneys, walls, and valleys.
Pipe boots and vents.
The rubber around your plumbing vents cracks in Minnesota freeze-thaw long before your shingles wear out. A cheap fix that prevents an expensive ceiling.
Patching.
For small, contained damage, a proper patch is the cost-effective answer, and we'll say so.

- If water is pooling in a ceiling bubble, poke a small hole and drain it into the bucket, a controlled drip beats a collapsed ceiling.

Could this be an insurance claim?+
Possibly, if hail or wind caused it, but that is not our call to make. Minnesota Statute 325E.66 bars a residential contractor from advising an insured about coverage or about duties under a policy, or from adjusting a claim, unless licensed as a public adjuster. Your agent or your carrier answers that one. What we do is inspect the roof, photograph what we find, put it in writing, and attend the adjuster visit if you want us there to answer construction questions.
